Full-Stack Coding Bootcamp

Comprehensive end-to-end development combining modern frontend frameworks with Python (Django/Flask) or Java backend databases.

Course overview

The bootcamp takes a student from writing their first component to deploying a working, database-backed application with authentication. It is deliberately project-driven: rather than covering each technology in isolation, the same application grows week by week until it is something that can be shown to an employer or a client. Students choose a Python (Django) or Java (Spring Boot) backend track at week five; the frontend, database and deployment work is common to both.

Skills you'll gain

  • Build responsive interfaces with semantic HTML, modern CSS and Tailwind
  • Write modern JavaScript and build component-driven React applications
  • Design relational schemas and write non-trivial SQL
  • Build and document RESTful APIs
  • Implement authentication, sessions and password handling safely
  • Use Git and pull-request workflow the way a team actually does
  • Write tests that catch regressions rather than restating the implementation
  • Deploy an application with environment configuration and a managed database

Learning outcomes

  1. 01Ship a complete, deployed application with authentication and persistent data
  2. 02Decide where a piece of logic belongs — client, server or database — and defend the choice
  3. 03Model data for a real domain without over-normalising or under-constraining it
  4. 04Debug across the stack: browser, network request, server log, query plan
  5. 05Work in a shared repository without breaking other people's branches
  6. 06Present a portfolio project and explain its architecture in an interview

Frequently asked

Do I need to know how to code before starting?

No. The first three weeks assume nothing. Students with prior experience typically find those weeks easy and the pace normalises from week four.

Python or Java — which track should I pick?

Python and Django if you are aiming at startups, data-adjacent work or freelancing; Java and Spring Boot if you are targeting banks, telecoms or large enterprises, where Java hiring in Pakistan is heavier.

Will I have something to show employers?

Yes — a deployed capstone application with source history on GitHub, built over the final three weeks. The commit history matters as much as the finished product in a junior interview.

Is 18 weeks full-time?

It runs at roughly 12 hours a week of scheduled contact time, with substantial independent project work between sessions. Students who treat it as contact hours only do not finish the capstone.
