About SINA

A technical institute
that names its exams.

Synergy Institute of Networks & Automation trains graduates and working professionals for certifications awarded by 14 international bodies — from a campus in I-8/4, Islamabad, in English and Urdu.

Who we are

Networks and automation, then everything they touch.

SINA began with the two disciplines in its name. The catalogue now runs to 66 programmes across 8 academic faculties — but the standard set by a Cisco lab is the one every other faculty is held to.

Cloud, cybersecurity, industrial automation, finance and ERP, project management, marketing and design. One campus, one ladder, and a route between them that does not mean starting again elsewhere.

The route through

A ladder, not a single course.

Most students arrive for one certification and leave with three. The catalogue is built as a progression, so each tier is the entry requirement for the next.

  1. Foundation

    Start with nothing assumed

A first line of Python, a first subnet mask, a first ledger entry. Foundation programmes list no prerequisites because they have none.

  2. Associate

    Sit your first vendor exam

CCNA 200-301, AWS Solutions Architect Associate, CompTIA Security+. This is the tier where a CV stops describing skills and starts naming exam codes.

  3. Professional

    Specialise where the work is

CCNP Enterprise and Security, Azure Security Engineer, SAP FICO, PMP. Narrower, deeper, and priced by the market accordingly.

  4. Expert

    Be trusted with the standard

CISSP, CISM and the PECB lead auditor tracks for ISO 27001, 9001 and 22301. At this tier the exam tests judgement rather than recall.

Mission

To make internationally recognised technical qualifications reachable from I-8/4, Islamabad — taught to the standard the certifying body demands, in the languages our students actually think in.

Vision

A generation of Pakistani engineers, analysts and administrators whose credentials travel — whether they build a career here, in the Gulf, or remotely for clients anywhere.

A vendor certification is portable in a way a local diploma is not. It is the same exam, the same blueprint and the same pass mark in Islamabad as in Dubai or Toronto, which is precisely why the catalogue is built around them.

What we hold to

Six commitments, and what each one costs us.

Every one of these rules out something a training provider would otherwise be free to do.

A planning wall densely covered in colour-coded sticky notes

Integrity

Say what the exam is.

A certification programme names its exam code and its awarding body, or it is not sold as one. Vagueness there is how training gets oversold.

Excellence

Teach to the blueprint.

Where a vendor publishes exam domains and weightings, the syllabus follows them — not the share of time an instructor finds most interesting.

Practical learning

Configure before you discuss.

Networking, automation and cloud sessions open on equipment or in a live account. The exam tests configuration; a lecture-first course prepares you for the wrong test.

Innovation

Track what changes.

Blueprints get revised and exam codes retire. Programmes follow the version of the exam being sat this year, not the one that was easiest to write.

Collaboration

Bilingual by default.

Sessions run in English and Urdu. Technical vocabulary stays in English, because that is how the exam, the documentation and the interview are written.

Industry readiness

Weighted to where the hiring is.

Cisco and MikroTik networking, cloud certification, industrial automation, internationally traded finance — the catalogue leans toward Pakistan and the Gulf.

Full profile

Student life

Benches, screens, and the people at them.

Small rooms, shared equipment and eight faculties' worth of kit. Programmes that depend on physical hardware are taught on campus, because half of that learning is wiring and fault-finding.

Learning experience

Method over marketing.

Four rules that decide how every programme in the catalogue is built and delivered.

01

Lab first

Equipment or a live cloud account before the slide deck. Certification exams test configuration and troubleshooting.

02

Blueprint weighting

A domain worth 28% of the exam gets 28% of the hours. The vendor decides that split, not the timetable.

03

The right format

Industrial automation is on-campus only. Some subjects cannot be taught properly at a distance, and we say so.

04

Stated limits

Prerequisites, scope and exclusions are on the course page. Exam fees are paid to the vendor, and that is said upfront.

Awarding bodies

The certificate is theirs, not ours.

SINA delivers the training. The credential is issued by the body below after you sit its proctored exam — which is why every course page names both, and why exam fees are paid to the vendor rather than to us.

Questions

About the institute.

What does SINA stand for?

Synergy Institute of Networks & Automation. The name reflects where the institute started — networking and industrial automation — though the catalogue now spans eight academic faculties.

Where is the campus?

693 Rehman Baba Road, opposite PSO Pump, I-8/4, Islamabad. Classes run on campus, and most programmes are also available online or hybrid.

Are the certifications awarded by SINA?

No, and this distinction matters. Vendor certifications are awarded by Cisco, AWS, Microsoft, CompTIA, PMI, PECB and the other bodies named on each course page, after you sit their proctored exam. SINA delivers the training that prepares you for it.

Can I visit before enrolling?

Yes. Call the campus to arrange a visit, particularly for the automation and networking programmes where seeing the lab equipment is the fastest way to judge whether the course is right for you.
